  It was the hotel that was the issue.I was there for a Salem State University function, the winter ball. The food was ok, my chicken was dry but the stuffing was really good. The cheesecake was fantastic. The dj however was terrible. Which is why I left the dance early. Also do to the ridiculous rules of Salem state I was not allowed to drink any alcohol because I didn't take the shuttle. I didn't drive my myself, I had a DD but that didn't matter. There was also this one kid who was trashed before dinner was even over. He was rude, all over the place, harassed my friend but she wouldn't complain to the council in charge. She is too nice. So overall the dance sucked.

  Could use a little renovation. Walls are scratched and dirty in random places in a hotel. The lobby looks great but the AC units are super loud. Gym very small and hot. The AC unit when turn on, leaks water from a celling which drips on the bike. But the service is great. Clean room, nice staff.

  The staff was professional and very friendly. The room was clean and well furnished. Housekeeping was timely. Being from the west coast I'm used to free continental breakfast but here you must pay $18 for the buffet. I opted instead for eggs Benedict which were decent but not amazing. I would recommend staying here to anyone.
